If your heart is a volcano, how shall you expect flowers to bloom?

When you see the face of anger
look behind it
and you will see the face of pride.

Bring anger and pride
under your feet, turn them into a ladder
and climb higher.

There is no peace until you become
their master.
Let go of anger, it may taste sweet
but it kills.

Don’t become its victim
you need humility to climb to freedom.

  1. I agree as I usually do with my friend Sue Dreamwalker.
Friends are wonderful I Would like everyone in the world to become friends.
I know you and Sue are striving for that goal.
Each of you have a community of followers so that is a good start._/\_

    • So true. It would be wonderful to see everyone in the world becoming friends. And there is definitively no reason why this could not be possible, except that there is always this interfering ego that likes and dislikes. And yes, we are all striving for the same goal. As the community grows larger, the chance for peace grows larger. It’s a good start, indeed. 🙂

      • Self controal, that is control of our own ego.
Control of our own thoughts and actions.
That is the only controal we have.
You are aware of this and if you and others post loving wisdom to educat and enlighten those suffering, poisoned by defilements, progress towards a peaceful world will happen.
While the world is suffering we can remain calm.
Appreciating all the natural wonders and beauty that remain.
Nice to communicate with you and enjoy your posts. _/\_

        • Hi Jack,
Thank you very much! It is an unmeasurable gift to be aware of these facts and to strive towards virtue. To be able to share, even a glimpse, is the best we can do to work towards peace. And yes… remaining calm and appreciating and contemplating all the natural wonders and the beauty of what is given to us brings gratitude, thankfulness.
The pleasure is mine, Jack. Thanks again.

          • Nice communicating with my friend and name sake, JC.
The path of virtue leads to peace and contentment that is the gift.
I like his quote, ‘ To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don’t grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown, instead you relax and float.
it is like another favourite, ” The Bird of Paradise lands on the hand that is not grasping. _/\_ Jack Caldwell.
