Spirituality means waking up. Most people, even though they don’t know it, are asleep. They’re born asleep, they live asleep, they marry in their sleep, they breed children in their sleep, they die in their sleep without ever waking up. They never understand the loveliness and the beauty of this thing that we call human existence. You know — all mystics — Catholic, Christian, non-Christian, no matter what their theology, no matter what their religion — are unanimous on one thing: that all is well, all is well. Though everything is a mess, all is well. Strange paradox, to be sure. But, tragically, most people never get to see that all is well because they are asleep. They are having a nightmare.

— Anthony de Mello – Approaching God – How to Pray

Though everything is a mess, all is well!?

    • Hi Paul,
I am really thankful for the respect you grant to the time I invest in keeping up this blog and I am happy that my work is of interest to you and all the other followers who take time to watch the pictures and read the quotes I post every day. There are definitively days when it is a hard work for me to keep the blog up because I am sometimes very busy but I have decided some day last year in October that I would make it a regular practice to free my mind from the daily hustle and bustle and turn it to towards virtue at least once a day, and this blog is a wonderful way fulfill this desire. It is also a wonderful way of sharing, giving and receiving thoughts and views with wonderful people. Thanks a lot for everything! 🙂
